Dr. Monica Hughes

Dr. Hughes is the Principal of Arnco-Sargent Elementary School. She has worked in the Coweta County School System since 1995. She had taught Pre-K for 2 years, First grade for 5 years, and Assistant Principal for 6 years. This will be her 3rd year as Principal of Arnco-Sargent. Dr. Hughes is a Newnan High School graduate. She obtained her undergraduate degrees from Clayton State University and Georgia State University, her Masters in Education from University of West Georgia, and her specialist and doctoral degrees from Argosy University in Sarasota. She has one daughter, Lillie. She enjoys reading and trips to the beach.
