  • Open Daily      8:00-4:00 pm
  • Located in the conference room in the front office.
  • Parent Coordinators, Shelbra Mayes & Zelda Hines, will be available to assist parents in the resource center.

• CCSS Parent Resource Center
  • Open M-F when Coweta Schools are in session
  • Located at 22 Nimmons Street, Newnan, GA
  • Provide services for the residents of Coweta County

Parent Nights & Workshops

•  Title I Annual Parent Meeting

1. August 23, 2011                      6:30 PM          

Parents meet to get an overview of Title I and the budget and to give feedback/suggestions or ask questions pertaining to the Title I Plan.

• Understanding ADHD

1. October 13, 2011                    6:00 PM

A speaker will join parents and staff to give an overview of ADHD.

• 8^th Grade CRCT Night

1. March 20, 2012                       6:00 PM

The testing coordinator will meet with 8^th grade parents to explain the administration of CRCT and why it is important to pass.

• Parent/Student Engagement Night

1. February 16, 2012                   6:00 PM

• 5^th Grade Night

1. May 15, 2012                           6:00 PM

5^th grade parents and students are invited to attend an evening of what it is like in middle school.  This is in preparation for the transition from 5^th to 6^th grade.
