Madras Eagles Participate in First STEM Symposium

stem

The Coweta County School System recently hosted the first STEM Symposium at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts. The Centre was open for anyone in the community to see the work Coweta County students have done in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. Afterwards guests heard from a representative from Congressman Lynn Westmoreland's office along with a high school Science Fair winner and advanced STEM interns who've been working with the district's local STEM related industries. Madras's award winning Science Fair students and Math Counts team along with members of the Young Astronauts Club presented their work and spoke with community guests and visitors. We're proud of our students' work and the efforts of our teachers to equip students with the 21st Century Skills necessary to compete in the future workplace.
