I have 22 years of teaching experience. After graduating from Georgia College & State University, I taught two years in Dekalb County. I spent 17 years teaching in Fayette County, and this will be my 4th year at Smokey Road. Teaching children is a wonderful profession!

I have a Bachelor's Degree from Georgia College & State University, and I received my Master's Degree and Educational Specialist Degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Concentration: Science, Social Science, Literature/Language Arts

I was born and raised in Georgia, and I have two children and two grandchildren. Spending time with my family is very special. Currently, my husband and I are kept quite busy with remodeling projects on our home which was built in 1850. I also enjoy gardening, photography, spending time at the lake, and cheering for the DAWGS!
