Principally Speaking…     

     It is hard to believe that another school year is almost over!! I want to thank all of the students for their participation in the CRCT and the Benchmark tests. Hopefully we will receive the results soon! I also want to thank all parents as well for ensuring the children were present each day. This makes it much easier for the students (and administration) because of makeup tests.

     Completing the CRCT also indicates that the end of school is just around the corner. The students bring smiles to our faces as they enter the building from the busses and cars.  They will be missed during the summer months.  I hope that you are planning fun (and a few) learning activities for the summer break.

     It has been another great year serving as the principal of Willis Road Elementary School. I am looking forward to the end of the year activities. Please plan on attending the awards programs and graduation ceremonies if possible. The students really enjoy when their parents are able to come to school. You are truly a part of their education. I want to thank you personally for the support you have given the faculty and staff this year.

     Congratulations to our 5th graders as they move on to middle school next year. I encourage each one to “be a WOLF” even in middle school. By working hard, owning their behavior, listening and learning, and focusing on respect, they will experience success in life.

Remember, “It takes a pack to raise a wolf”. Have a great summer break.
